We’ve all heard of upcycling, and we all have an idea what its advantages and disadvantages are. But of course everyone does it different.

As a precursor to our series of upcoming workshops, Régis Lemberthe of A&Re Design will present the aim of bringing value back to discarded objects and materials, what difficulties are encountered while trying to make this work on a bigger scale, and some design solutions.

The lecture will be quite short, and we invite other local artists who share similar interests to come and present their work as well.

Régis Lemberthe of A&Re Design based in Toulouse and Berlin.   http://aetredesign.com/ will hold a free, informational session describing his upcoming classes, and workshops about Up-cycling, Collaborative and Humanitarian Design, working with Concrete, Glass-Cutting, and Mold-making.
